Preorder & Split Fulfilment

Sell products before they arrive, then ship what you have and hold the rest until stock lands.

• Per-variant preorder rules. Turn preorder on for the variants you choose, with an expected ship date, an optional deposit percentage and a preorder stock limit.
• Honest dates on the product page. A theme app extension shows the preorder badge and expected delivery date, so customers know what they are buying before they check out.
• Split fulfilment. When an order mixes in-stock and preorder items, the in-stock part ships immediately and the preorder part is held until inventory arrives.
• Automatic release. Held fulfilments resume on their own once stock is restocked, and every split order is tracked so nothing is forgotten.
